Bicester Sustainable Transport Strategy

The Bicester Sustainable Transport Strategy is the document that will help shape the town’s transport network over the coming decades. It focusses on walking and cycling networks and links to bus and rail services.

A multi-disciplinary design-led consultancy has prepared the document in collaboration with Sustrans, Oxford Brookes University and Cherwell District Council.

The sections of the Strategy provide a comprehensive review of the existing movement network before setting out the strategy for a future network and delivery plan. The Strategy will inform further work on the Cherwell Local Plan, Oxfordshire Local Transport Plan and Bicester Masterplan.
